Hope ANCHORS the SOUL …

What is it that ANCHORS you? Have you given that much thought this past year?

What lessons will you take with you, and what will you leave behind?

Creative Memories just came out with this darling ANCHOR PUNCH and it got me thinking about how many different applications there are to use it. You could use it with beach pictures, a trip to the East or West Coast, for a tribute album for a man you love, any nautical adventures, cruises…all of those things easily work! But what about going beyond that? WHO is it that ANCHORS YOU? What did you learn this past year about yourself through the pandemic that you would like to share with people you love? Who were YOUR anchors in the storm? WHAT is it that ANCHORED you? Writing that down is a beautiful gift.

This Fall, it will be 20 years since September 11th. Did you ever write how you felt that day? How did it change you? How can you help people who follow you work through their challenges and fears when their future seems uncertain?

Remember how scary it was when we first shut down? We did not know what was ahead of us or how long it would last…those long lines at Costco or how you wondered about those who got sick? Plans were altered and we were shut off from connecting like we wanted to. I went to “the Silo’s” this Spring and saw a plaque from Chip and Johanna Gaines that said, “There are so many stories just waiting to be told. Stories that bring us together, that let us see things in a while new light. Stories that connect us to our roots, and to one another.” Be sure to write a story that matters to you.

I created a few ideas with the ANCHOR Punch and ROPE Bordermaker Cartridge and the new SEASIDE Collection to share. The colors in this collection work very well with the FAITH and ALL MY LOVE Collections. The directions are below the images. You can click on the links below to print out directions. I created a sheet of quotes to use on your pages to get you started. A good solid quote is a great writing prompt!
